Our mandate as the Office of the Auditor General of Zimbabwe is to audit and report on the management of public resources. We provide Parliament with independent assurance that foster transparency, accountability and service delivery. The objective of our work is to influence public sector entities to practice good financial management and to carry out their programs with integrity, in accordance with the statutory provisions and national development priorities.

As a Supreme Audit Institution, we thrive to be a model organisation which continues to demonstrate ongoing relevance to citizens, parliament and other stakeholders. This is achieved by carrying out impactful audits that will make a difference in the lives of citizens of Zimbabwe. Our audit findings and recommendations provide valuable information and support to public sector entities to enhance their systems and continue providing quality service delivery.
